Supplier of Quality Sand in Maryland

Our sand is white, pure, and soft. It’s finely graded and commercial standard. It is “washed sand,” which is an industrial process — the sand is surface mined, then screened and washed by a machine in order to remove silt and clay. After that, the sand is allowed to drain. This process makes our sand great for many purposes:

  • sandboxes in schools, parks, daycares, and even homes
  • for fill, in construction and home projects
  • to top-dress golf course greens
  • as a base for laying brick
  • … and many more applications.

Quantities of Sand Available

Maryland – Washington, D.C. – Virginia
In the MD – DC – VA area, we can deliver our sand to you, or you can pick it up at our facility in Dickerson, Maryland. The price is $140/ton. Please note that this price does not include delivery or installation.

For delivery, the minimum order is 2 tons (approx. 20 wheelbarrows). Our professional team can either drop the sand in a pile on your premises, or put it down in a specific location, like a play area or a sand trap. For more information, phone us at (301) 840-0707.

For pick-up at our facility in Boyds, Maryland, you can pick up any quantity you would like, from 1 shovel-full to 100 tons! Please note that pick-ups of sand are done by appointment only. For an appointment, just phone us at (301) 840-0707.

We ship our white fun sand anywhere in the continental U.S. The sand is shipped in 50-lb. bags labelled “Play Sand.” The price is $9.49 per bag, with a minimum order of 60 bags. 60 bags equals 1.5 tons of weight. These orders are shipped on pallets, via motor freight. For shipping rates, please phone us toll free.
